Sustainable Communities Bill
The Sustainable Communities Bill (Private Members) is up for ballot on Nov 23rd 06; it is well supported by over 400 MPs & hundreds of councils because it is trying to put 'subdisiarity' into practicem and to "..turn politics upside down" - a long held LibDem policy. If successful it will be fronted by a LibDem MP. We are urged to write to Liam Fox (he has indicated support) to adopt the Bill if it does reach the House.
