Liberal Democrat Wendy Griggs has kept up with North Somerset issues by attending council meetings as an observer and using the media and technology to keep up to date with planning issues and all issues involving residents and the environment.
Wendy has lived in the ward for 40 years. She is active locally in these ways.
Governor at Yatton Schools, holding
Active in Yatton Methodist Church
Member of PACT
Member of Yatton Village Hall Committee
Trustee for the Durban Trust
Volunteer at Weston Hospice
Chair of the Childrens’ Centre
Member of the Patient Participation group
Being able and efficient in committees is only one way of serving the community. Wendy enjoys helping people in the community and supporting local events and hopes that people feel she is approachable when they need help. She is visible all year, not just at election times.
For Wendy, the most important thing about Politics IS people.
Wendy says: “If I am elected on May 2nd I promise to work hard for local people, getting things done as I do now.”
She adds: "You have two votes on May 2nd to choose two district councillors for North Somerset Council. We need to choose two councillors to represent the community and work on local issues over the next 4 years. We need candidates that live in and know the ward. We have already had experience of an absent Conservative councillor over the past 4 years."
So make your vote count on May 2nd and Vote for Wendy Griggs
